Do you ‘get’ POQD?
At this moment, you, our masses of soon-to-be-loyal readers, may just be wondering: what is POQD? For all you pharmacists and Latin Club Presidents these four little letters represent much more than an off-handed reference to an activity normally reserved for index fingers; they are specific directions to take by mouth daily. And that is exactly what we intend POQD to be – your daily dose of pharmacy news, by word of mouth. (Give us some room here…we really wanted to use that finger.)
POQD, in it’s purest form, aims to press at the throbbing pulse of all that fuels the burning fire of a thrill-ride that is the pharmacy profession (again, work with us here), or what WILL become of the pharmacy profession once our Bloggers get through with it! We have hand-picked pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, students and academics from all over the world – including some globe trotters who never stay too long in one place in the world – to write posts, report on successes and challenges, entertain us with stories, anecdotes and phun photos, invite you to events and generally ensure everyone is craving for much more than just one dose per day.
So c’mon, don’t be scared to get POQD! ALL the cool pharmacists are doin’ it!
